First One :)

I never thought I would be writing blogs. I did have a habit of writing diaries to preserve the cherished memories. But only recently did I realize that I could do the same thing with blogs and at the same time bore people to death… On a serious note, I got inspired by a few of my friends whose blog I read and they were simply awesome.

I believe that penning your thoughts on a piece of paper or on a computer does bring about a very soothing and relaxing effect. It helps you to ease out all the stress and many times serves as your best friend with whom you can share just about anything. With this note I shall begin my blogging career. How successful it will be, only time shall tell.

My first blog would be about my inspiration.:) In most of our lives, there exists a role model, an idol who plays a vital role in shaping and influencing our actions, deeds, thoughts, feelings and our mere existence. This icon could be a renowned author, a popular pin-up, a superstar, a legendary sportsman, a great friend, an adorable family member, a nobody or most importantly it could just be you. It’s bizarre how we seldom acknowledge and appreciate it.

Inspiration is that almighty force that arises from the inside. It lights you up, and gives you more power than you ever expected. Although brainwave occurs in a lot of different forms, for example, you could be inspired to perform a trivial chore or it could be something that changes your life completely, it is significantly important for that influence to bring out a positive upshot that forces out the best in us! (literally :-))

For me, my inspiration has been my mother. Amma as I call her. She has been my motivator, my guru, my “everything”. Starting from waking up in the morning at 5.00 and preparing yummy breakfast and lunch for me; from tolerating all my idiosyncrasies to showering unconditional love; From sitting with me for studies late nights to enjoying my fruitful results; from worrying about me at each step to sacrificing a lot more for my happiness; from being a tower of strength to being a wonderful friend and (the list still goes on…….) She is the person who is instrumental in bringing up the “dancer” version of me. We were just passing by the streets of Malleshwaram (this happened when I was 3 yrs old) one evening and she could scarcely hear sounds of the “natuvangam”. She asked me if I wanted to lear
n Bharatnatyam. I didn even know whether to say a yes or no; we were inside the dance class. I started learning dance from the age of three and my mother has made me realize that dance is just not a hobby. It has to be my passion. And that’s why I am a dancer-All credits to her……J

She has been a strength, a power and an idol for our family. I worship her with chanting prayers in my heart.

Thus, my blogging career starts with worshipping my mother for being an inspiration in my life. Each one of us is bestowed with the potential to make it big and all you need for that is inspiration.

So bring it on……Be inspired……J
